The fine print, in plain English

Last updated: August 12, 2026

This is Brock Falfas's portfolio. This note says what it collects when you reach out, why, where it lives, how long it stays, who else can see it, and how to have it removed. It is written plainly and is not legal advice.

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your email, and the note about your project. There is no other field, no account and no login.

What is recorded automatically

Two things get attached that you did not type: the date and time you sent the message, and a yes or no spam flag our filter sets so junk can be sorted out without losing a real message.

Your IP address is used as a counter and is not filed with your message. We count recent submissions from an address so a script cannot flood the form, and that counter erases itself within a minute.

Cookies

This site sets none. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and nothing of ours follows you anywhere after you leave.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you about your project. We do not sell your data. We do not run ad trackers or third-party pixels on this site.

Where it lives, and for how long

Your message is stored on Cloudflare, our host, and emailed to Brock so it gets answered. Being straight about time: there is no automatic delete date. A message stays until somebody removes it, which is why the next line matters and why we answer it.

Who else can see it

Cloudflare hosts the site, holds the storage and carries the email, so they are the one company involved. The contact form also runs Cloudflare's anti robot check, Turnstile, which sends Cloudflare a one time token and your IP so it can tell a person from a script. Pages here load a font from Google, so your browser asks Google for that file and Google sees the request. That is the whole list, and a company not named here does not have your details.

Analytics

No Google Analytics, no advertising network and no profiling of visitors. Cloudflare can count page views on its own without any script, and in Cloudflare's words that counting does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint individuals by IP or user agent. We are told totals, never who.

AI assistants are welcome here, on purpose

This site invites AI crawlers rather than blocking them, because the work is meant to be found and cited. That applies to the published pages only. Nothing you send through the contact form is published, shown to a crawler or used to train anything.

Your controls

Ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and it is gone within 7 days. You do not need an account and you do not have to say why.

Children

This is a professional portfolio for business inquiries. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this note changes meaningfully, we will update the date above. No silent edits.
